RV rental delivery: what to confirm before you book
Delivery can make a camping stay feel much simpler. Before you book, bring four separate answers together.

1. Does the campground accept the RV?
Identify the selected campsite, the equipment type and the vehicle dimensions. General RV access does not establish that every campsite fits your rental. Ask about entry arrangements and the time needed for setup.
2. Does the campground permit the delivery?
Ask the campground whether third-party rental delivery is allowed at your site. Some places may have vendor requirements or other conditions. A listing’s delivery option is the host’s offer, not a campground permission slip.
3. Will the host deliver there?
Give the host the precise destination and site number if you have it. Confirm the delivery service, charges, setup and pickup arrangements. Keep the agreed details with your booking so neither side is relying on a vague location name.
4. Are both reservations available for your dates?
Make sure the campsite and rental booking line up. Confirm when you must arrive, who completes the walkthrough and how the return will work. If one reservation changes, revisit the other.
Compare delivery with the alternative
Add delivery to the full budget alongside campground charges and rental fees. Compare that plan with pickup, fuel, mileage and the extra travel involved. Delivery is a different setup, not automatically the cheapest one.
A few useful answers
Does host delivery mean the campground allows it?
No. The host’s offered delivery and the campground’s permission are different checks. Obtain both.
Which delivery charges should I ask about?
Confirm the complete delivery and pickup charge, the distance basis, any setup service and any additional agreed fees.
Who books the campsite?
Treat the campsite as a separate reservation unless an explicit offer says otherwise. Confirm exactly who books it.
What arrival and pickup details should I confirm?
Agree on the precise site, timing, entry instructions, walkthrough, setup and return pickup. Keep a record of what both parties confirm.
